Recent research has highlighted biased performance in healthcare AI systems, which can harm certain patient groups, particularly minoritized communities. These biases may result in Black patients being unjustly denied healthcare resources or less accurate diagnoses for underserved groups. Learn more: STANDING Together project, which aims to set standards to encourage generalisability and transparency of healthcare datasets.
